Ingredients:

  • Two crust pastry
  • cups of sugar
  • 2 tbsp. grated orange peel
  • 6 cups of chopped fresh rhubarb
  • I tbsp. cold butter or lighten the skin
  • 6tbsp all-purpose flour

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 450⁰ F and place one pastry crust in a 9-inch glass plate.
  • Take a glass bowl and add the sugar, orange peel and flour together.
  • After mixing, add in the mixture the chopped rhubarbs.
  • Put this mixture in the pastry lined plates and add a little butter.
  • Now cover it with the top crust and make slits in it.
  • Bake it for 50 to 55 minutes
  • During the last 15 minutes, remove the foil and bake.
  • Cool the pie for two hours before serving.
