Having purchased the strawberry variant from Lakme’s Blush and Glow range, I decided to try out their peach one as well. Is this variant as good as the strawberry one? Or did Lakme falter with it? Read the detailed review below.

Lakme Blush and Glow Face Wash Peach comes in a translucent tube that appears orange because of the product present in it. The cap is crisp white in color and shut tightly with a click sound. The face wash is also available in a smaller variant, which is more travel-friendly. As in, you can carry that tube to your college or office or any way you like.
Consistency And Fragrance:
The face wash has a thick, gel-like consistency with microbeads. The microbeads are claimed to be peach extracts.
The fragrance is pleasant, though nowhere near to a peach’s scent. Yes, it does smell artificial.
The biggest pro of Lake Blush and Glow peach face wash is that with just a coin-sized amount of this face wash, you can get a squeaky-clean face. And it even rinses off quite easily, leaving no residue behind.
Lakme Blush and Glow Face Wash Peach, just like its sister, do not dry out my skin. Neither does it make it stretchy. But a follow up with moisturizer is recommended.
Now coming to the cons. Lakme claims that its product contains ‘peach extracts’, but these extracts are not very effective. You need to follow it up with a proper scrub if you wish to exfoliate your face. Do not expect it to remove makeup, especially eye makeup with this face wash. It can only help remove oil and dirt from the face. Neither does it control sebum secretion. Also, it does not make the skin blush and glow. That’s just a gimmick to attract people. Please do not purchase this product with hopes of getting a blushing and glowing skin.
The performance of both the face washes of Blush and Glow range is same. The differences are only in color and fragrance. But I’ll tilt towards the strawberry one. I’ve been using it for years, (No Lakme, you cannot fool me. I know it’s the cause of old wine in a new bottle) and I’m a bit partial towards it.
Pros Of Lakme Blush and Glow Face Wash:
- Cleanses the face well
- Travel-friendly packaging
- Does not break out the skin
- Does not dry out the skin
Cons Of Lakme Blush and Glow Face Wash:
- Contains loads of chemicals
- Does not add ‘blush’ and ‘glow.’
- Does not remove makeup
- Exfoliating beads are useless
Live It Beautiful Rating: 3.5/5
Overall, it’s a decent, summery face wash at this price range. I love the fresh feeling it gives post wash. But I may not repurchase it.
