Today I’ll review the cleanser that replaced the face wash I had been using for eight years. And believe me, I had tried over twenty face washes and cleansers in between. Just keep reading!

Forest Essentials Kashmiri Saffron and Neem Delicate Facial Cleanser comes packaged in a pump bottle, black dispenser and see through cap. I won’t call the larger variant the most travel-friendly packaging, as the top cap can come out in your suitcase or purse, leading to spillage. Its 50ml is a lot more convenient to carry. Too bad, it isn’t readily available.

Consistency And Fragrance:

Forest Essentials Kashmiri Saffron and Neem Delicate Facial Cleanser is lime in color and has a runny consistency, just like most of the cleansers.

I absolutely love the fragrance of this cleanser. It smells like distilled rose water to me, and it’s pretty strong. Despite being so strong, the smell doesn’t linger after washing. That’s because it’s a NATURAL product and contains no artificial fragrance. People with sensitive nose may not like it.

My Experience:

Just for the record, I have a combination skin that’s super oil in the summers and super dry in winters. Now dryness and stretchiness is one issue that I experience with most of the cleansers, except Lakme’s Strawberry Face Wash. I’ve used Forest Essentials Kashmiri Saffron and Neem Delicate Facial Cleanser in every season, and it didn’t dry out my skin even a wee bit.

Forest Essentials Kashmiri Saffron and Neem Delicate Facial Cleanser lathers well for a cleanser. Do not expect it to be too foamy. And the lathering also depends on the quantity you use. Two pumps are sufficient to give a soft, bright, smooth and glowing skin. Use it along with their Narangi and Nagkesar Facial Ubtan and your face will glow like a tube light in a matter of few days :P.

Coming to the makeup removal part, Forest Essentials Kashmiri Saffron and Neem Delicate Facial Cleanser successfully removes every trace of makeup, including my stubborn eye makeup. But for that, you need to use a bit more than regular.

I did not experience any irritation with this product, and I’m pretty sure even you won’t. In fact, I’ve noticed a slight reduction in my acne as well, which is probably because of its active ingredient neem.

Coming to the con, I hate the fact that this face wash is so expensive. Some people argue that the cleanser is value for money as the product lasts 5 to 6 months, but that isn’t a benefit per se. The product starts emitting a weird scent after four months of usage. That’s when it nears the expiry date. I humbly request the brand, if they are reading this, to introduce the smaller version of this cleanser online. It would be helpful to people who don’t have Forest Essentials pop up stores in their city.

Summing Up:

Pros Of Forest Essentials Kashmiri Saffron and Neem Delicate Facial Cleanser:

  • Brightens the skin with regular usage
  • Thoroughly cleanses the skin
  • Does not dry out my skin
  • Paraben free
  • It has a pleasant and exotic fragrance

Cons Of Forest Essentials Kashmiri Saffron and Neem Delicate Facial Cleanser:

  • It isn’t suitable for people with dry skin
  • The product starts emitting a strange smell after four months of use.

Live It Beautiful Rating: 4.5/5

Final Views:

Lastly, I absolutely love this product and would recommend to people with oily to combination skin tone. Women with dry skin should avoid it as this cleanser contains neem, which can exacerbate their skin condition.
